Who Am I and What is This?

To answer your question in a few short words, My name is Blessing, and this is Nubian Chic.

Nubian Chic is a growing empire. It was created to support and uplift black queens. This is a growing issue not only faced around the United states, but also inside the black community. It is an issue that we can overcome.

There are a lot of obstacles in our ways. Being female is trouble enough, but adding unto that we are black. Our identities will stand against us, but it will not defeat us.

I may repeat this many times, but this website is not only for black females. I will motivate to all shapes, race, size, ethnicity, gender, whatever. And anyone can take part in the active affect to uplift Nubians.

1. My celebrity crush is Bryson Tiller,

2. I am spiritual. Yes I love Jesus, and i am not afraid to admit it

3. I am very direct, straight to the point, and hate "dilly dally". I believe time is valuable.

4. I am Nigerian, but left when I was barley 1 years old. I currently live in the United States, and have lived there all my life.

5. Blogging/writing was my first love and first found talent. Although I've branched out now, it holds a space in my heart.

6. I am an intellect. Naturally born smart, with a very high IQ that will back up my statement.

7. I am a confident person. Some may say Im 'Overly Confident', but I couldn't care less.

8. I am boujee. I enjoy high end things, but I am a money hog. Before I buy anything, I think about it 10 times.

9. I am a neat freak.

10. To elaborate on what I said earlier, I am the cheapest high end spender. I know all the tricks to buying the best stuff for the best amount. And I will teach you them.

11. I write screenplays on my free time. I am an entrepreneur with many talents, (see my confidence level. Lol) so on my free time I like to create, read, and find out new things. I hope to publish one of the series I am working on.

12. I have had A LOT of racist encounters. Oh the storytimes I will be writing about!

For the first month of this blog, once a week I will do my best to posts blogpost of little 'Get to Know Me' slips. These are engaging and let you get a little more feel of who I am.
